Planning your vacation in Bisbee? Above and Beyond Rentals may have just what you’re looking for, “a home away from home,” with all the amenities you might desire during your stay. Located along Tombstone Canyon (the main thoroughfare through historic Old Bisbee), you’ll be a pleasant ten minute walk from downtown (or a short drive, if that’s what you prefer). Two properties are available, a two-bedroom house in the front and a studio in back. They can be rented separately or together, depending on your needs.

The house is brightly decorated with modern wood floors (livingroom photo inset above) and a queen-sized bed in each of the bedrooms. A full kitchen (supplied with plates, silverware, pots and pans) is ready for you to stock the 'fridge and create a charming dinner. Television/DVD player is waiting for your enjoyment; cable TV/WiFi is available for a fee. And, you can always sit outside and watch the colorful Bisbee traffic--probably to include an art car or three--while you sip a glass of wine.

The Little Red House, a studio up just a few steps from the main house, includes a queen-sized bed, two roll-up futons (great for the kids), fully-equipped kitchen (yes, coffee maker is there, too) and TV/DVD with movies. As you can see in the photos below, the studio has a delightfully secluded deck which is the perfect place to enjoy your freshly cooked breakfast.

Pamela Nathan, a South African emegre who has lived in San Diego since 1978, is the proprietor of Above & Beyond. Pam first visited Bisbee in 2007, she says she fell in love at first sight and has been returning here as frequently as she can.
